What a great year of Football!
We hope you all enjoyed your 2024 season and achieved your goals - whether that was improving your skills, bringing home a trophy or bonding with your teammates.
Work is already well underway to prepare for the 2025 season and we are excited to share information about our Development Program (SL | DL | JDL | Dev Teams) at LFC for 2025.
These specialised programs are designed for players committed to improving their skills and competing at the highest level of community football.
In addition to the leagues, we offer a comprehensive Development Squad program aimed at players striving for improvement and aiming for selection in SL, DL, or JDL teams.
Program Expectations
All players selected for SL, DL, JDL, and Development Teams will participate in our Development program, which includes:
Twice weekly training sessions
Elevated expectations regarding attendance, attitude at training, and on game days
Before attending trials, please familiarise yourself with our Player Offers Policy to ensure a smooth process.
Additional Costs
Please note that there are additional uniform requirements and coaching costs associated with this Player Development program, which enables us to provide top-level coaching from our professional team.
Players wanting to play in a higher Age Group - Team Grader won’t allow sign up.
Please get in touch with your Age Coordinator - they will be able to advise if playing up an Age Group is the best option - LFC does not recommend this unless there are exceptional circumstances. Your AC will be able to manually add your player name to the list - please provide them your FFA Id to speed up the process. Please DO NOT falsify your child’s Date of Birth to manipulate the system - speak to your Age Coordinator.

LFC Oct/Nov Grading Trial Dates have now been confirmed - Sign UP via Team Grader today!
Note: ALL Grading Trials for SL | DL | JDL | Dev teams are held in Oct/Nov - we will NOT be running any additional selection trials in February (excepting U6/7).
Junior Development League (JDL - formerly known as SAP)
PLEASE NOTE: only sign-up to one Trial A OR B. The 2nd Trial will be by Call Back - see below.
U8-11: selections for JDL Squad (2 x Div 1 Teams) and Dev Team (1 x Div 2 Team)
NOTE: Each player must sign up to ONE trial date EITHER 27th or 3rd Nov. The 2nd trial will be a CALL BACK. Please ensure your primary email address is current in Team Grader.
U8/U9 CALL BACK DATE Sat 9th Nov: U8s @ 3pm or U9s @ 4.30pm
U10/U11 CALL BACK DATE Sun 10th Nov: U10s @ 9am or U11s @ 10.30am
U12: 2 x SL teams and 1 x Dev Team
U13-U16: 1 x SL team + 1 Dev Team in each age group
U18: 2 teams U18 SL and U17 SL (U18X)
G8/9/10: 1-2 dev teams in each age group
G11/12: 2 x DL teams + 1 Dev team
G13/14: 2 x DL teams + 1 Dev team
G15/16: 2 x DL teams + 1 Dev team
G18: 1 x DL team

We are looking for coaches of all levels of experience to join our team. Opportunities are across all junior age groups from G/U6-G/U18, Mens and Womens All Age, as well as our Overs Teams during the 2025 season.
Coaches will be matched to teams (social squads and/or development teams) based on their level of experience.
At LFC our focus is on coach development so you will be joining a team where you will be trained, supported and assisted to get the most out of your coaching - LFC also offer good rates of pay :-)
