For ALL Development Players (except U6/7)

As the year comes to a close, (late October/early November) LFC conducts Grading Trials to select players for next Winter Season teams

All new and existing players who wish to be considered must attend.

  • Super League (SL) + Dev teams

  • Diamond League (DL) + Dev teams

  • JDL League (Junior Development League) + Dev teams

  • Mens PREMS (PL + PLR) | Womens PREMS (A + B) | Mens Div 2 (1sts + Res)

What are Development Leagues?

Development Leagues (SL | DL | JDL) are for players who want to improve their skills and play at the top level of community football.

LFC also offers a comprehensive Development Squad program, supporting those players aiming to improve their skills and push for JDL, DL & SL team selection the following year.

All Players selected in SL | DL | JDL & Dev Teams will join our Development program which involves twice weekly training and a different level of expectations on players regarding attendance, and attitude at training and on game days. Before you come to the Trials, please make sure you read and understand our Player Offers Policy.

Please note: There are additional uniform requirements and costs associated with this program of Player Development which supports top-level coaching from our professional team.

If you have more questions about the Development Program, please use the links to read more detailed information about each league, including access last year’s Parent Briefing Document or get in touch with your 2025 Age Coordinator.
