Competitions, Cups and Tournaments

LFC encourages players to participate in a variety of additional competitions beyond NSFA to broaden their exposure to other teams and associations, enhance their skills and build team spirit & bonding.

For Super League (SL) and Diamond League (DL) teams the year kicks off early with the Proctor and Bathurst Cups - great warm up opportunities to help bring new teams together and dust off the cobwebs of summer.
This is then followed up with entry into the knockout State Cup which runs from May through to July depending upon the teams success rate.

Most SL & DL teams are also entered in the local NSFA Cup knock-out competitions which begin around June with the grand finals taking place just after the season concludes.
For the teams that win their NSFA Div 1 competition - they go on to represent NSFA in the Champion of Champion competitions - one of the most prestigious tournaments in the footballing calendar, with champions from each association pitted against each other in a battle for supremacy. Social Teams aged between 10-14 years are offered a similar away trip opportunity through participation in our Country Cousins program and Kanga Cup for stronger teams.
