If so, we recommend you check out our Lindfield FC Skills Academy — and you can try your first session for FREE!
Our team of highly trained coaches is back, refreshed, and ready to take players to the next level.
Since its launch in 2023, the Academy has received an overwhelmingly positive response from both players and parents.
This specialised small-group training program is designed for players aged Under 8 (born 2017) to Under 14 (born 2011).
Our Term 1 program will kick off on Saturday 1 February with 9 weeks available to choose from.
For an even more personalised and customised approach to player development, we’re also continuing to offer one-on-one coaching, including goalkeeper-specific training,
You can find more details about this 1-to-1 coaching option here. This service is available for players up to U18 (born in 2007).
Additionally, if parents can arrange a suitable training partner, these 1-t0-1sessions can be held with one coach for two players, at the same all-inclusive cost.

TERM 1 PROGRAM DETAILS
DATES: Sat 1 Feb - Sat 29 March
AGES: U8 to U14 in 2025
Group MIXED or GIRLS ONLY sessions
Individual 1-to-1 available up to 18yrs
LOCATION: All weather courts @ Lindfield Sports Centre, Highfield Rd
COST: The group weekly program is $25 per 60-minute session, per player. The individual 1-to-1 hour sessions are $80 (can be split with a friend)

NOTE: due to court availability, February sessions are morning time slots and March sessions are afternoon. For this reason, minimum sign-up is only 4 weeks!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THESE PROGRAMS?
The Skills Academy was instigated in response to demand from our young players and their parents for such an offering.
While we recommend the more advanced players – those who play at A and B team level (JDL, Diamond League, Super League and all Dev Players) are best suited for the Academy environment, the most important criteria are players’ self-motivation and work rate.
That means upper-level social team players, who have the drive and work rate to improve, are very welcome to the Academy sessions.
All players need to behave in a disciplined, focused manner.
We focus on the younger age groups as they are the ones who will benefit most from the Academy’s technical curriculum.
WHAT WILL THEY LEARN?
The Academy is an initiative dedicated to lifting players’ technical skills, enabling them to become more creative, well-rounded and effective team players.
Dribbling, ball skills, passing, shooting and first touch are among the foundational skills taught.
There are no more than eight players per coach in each session, which allows for a lot of personalised, one-on-one coaching.
