February Newsletter

February Roundup

What a busy February! Thank goodness for our artificial courts at LSC - this enabled us to get through a lot of washed out grading sessions. Thanks to the Coaching team who did a great job in trying circumstances and a special thanks to all you members and parents for your patience with all the changes.
We got there in the end!

  • February also saw registrations soar with many age groups filling up quickly and wait lists being enacted. So if you are planning on registering, you should do it TODAY!

  • Lindfield was also extremely well represented at the Bathurst and Proctor Cup Tournaments last weekend. The G14's won their pool, making it to the semi-finals, the best result for a Lindfield team to date.

Welcome to Football

  • February also saw our First Welcome to Football mornings for U6 & U7 - these were a great success and provided the young footballers with a good insight as to what Football is all about. The parents also appreciated getting all their questions answered.

  • A big thank you to Sarah our Junior Non Comp Director who saw the need for this essential introduction to our club and implemented it. She was ably supported by Gisell the U6 coordinator who has been tireless in ensuring all our youngest new members have the information they need to start playing football.

  • The Coaches, Club and Uniform staff were terrific and made the events ones we plan to add to the calendar every year!
