MiniRoos Fun Day - Sunday 8th Sept

We look forward to welcoming you all for a fantastic day of fun and celebration!

Logistics

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time and follow the instructions of the car park attendant or signage. If the car park is full, please use available street parking as we expect to be at capacity.

MiniRoos are encouraged to wear their Blue LFC shirts.

If managers can please assist with having your Miniroos seated in their teams, on the floor in front of the stage, ready for their presentation on the allotted hour.
NB Team lines to run perpendicular to the stage.

The ceremony should take approx 30 mins

  • Fun Day Announcements and Thank you

  • Each team will be called up on stage for their medal presentation.

  • Team photos will be taken.

  • Players should remain quietly seated until their entire age group has been presented.

  • After the ceremony, please move outside to eat, play, and allow the next teams to come in for their presentations.

Playtime After the Ceremony

Enjoy playtime on the inflatables, courts and soccer darts, as well as, parents vs. kids games.

We’ll have a delicious BBQ*, ice creams, slushies, and drinks available for purchase.

* We appreciate your understanding that, due to the size of the event and the volunteer nature of our team, we are unable to accommodate food intolerances and preferences. Thank you for your support and cooperation!

Volunteers needed

It is a huge day but with plenty of volunteers it will spread the load - if every team can organise for at least one or two representatives for 1 hour that would be awesome. Please add your name to the roster here or contact natalie@lindfieldfc.com.au with how you can help.

2nd Hand Uniform Donations: Clean, old football boots and any remaining MB shirts can be donated into the collection bins inside the clubhouse. These will be distributed to children in needy communities.

Medals will be available for collection from the clubhouse starting Monday, September 9th.

Please visit the clubhouse between 5 PM and 8 PM and ask the bar staff for your medals.

Note: Medals for teams not attending will not be available for collection on September 8th during the event.

Attention Managers:
Please Return Your MiniRoos Kitbag

All kitbags must be returned to the drop-off point at the Garage in the Clubhouse Carpark.

Drop-off Time: Sunday, September 8th 🕙 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Your prompt return is appreciated: Timely returns assist with equipment ordering and distribution and greatly support our volunteers.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Please ensure the kitbag has the TEAM NAME label and is returned in the same condition you received it - this will assist our volunteers enormously.

  • Empty the bag of all rubbish and give it a good shake. Deal with any lost property separately—do not leave it in the bag.

  • Check that each bag contains:

    • Training bibs and goalie shirt (freshly washed)

    • U6/U7: 1 match ball

    • U8 and upwards: 1 match ball and 2 training balls

    • Training cones

    • Ball pump

    • Any unused ice packs (discard if they are hard)

DO NOT RETURN:

  • First aid kits (no longer supplied and discarded due to expiration; keep if you wish)

  • Hand sanitiser (no longer provided; keep if useful)

  • Whistles (cannot be reused due to hygiene rules)

Dear Volunteer Managers and Coaches,

Thank you for your incredible dedication and hard work throughout this football season. We truly appreciate your commitment, especially with the challenges thrown at us this season with washouts and the new shirt changeover.

As a token of our gratitude, please enjoy a complimentary drink on us. Your drink token is valid for any soft drink or coffee/tea at the Fun Day, Sept 8th.

Your token can be collected from the presenters of the medal ceremony at the time of your team’s presentation.
