⚽️ Ensure your donated boots are CLEAN & in GOOD CONDITION - a quick polish will make the kids proud to wear them! 😁
⚽️ Please TIE THE BOOT LACES TOGETHER
⚽️ Bring them to our collection point inside the clubhouse before May 10th.
⚽️ Get in touch with Ilan if you have a few hours to spare to help in May
The boots are collected by local legend Ilan Hurwitz, whose charity, Kick It Forward distributes to communities. They have a simple mission: to ensure everyone who wants to play football can do so with a decent pair of boots.
Through the collection and distribution of boots, they are committed to removing barriers to participation and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and opportunity among communities in Australia and around the world.
If you'd like to read about how your past donations have helped members of our broader football family - here are two stories - one after the QLD floods and the other helping our Indigenous community way up north on Mornington Island.

Thanks to Ilan Hurwitz and Lindfield Sports Centre for organising this great initiative.
Thank You for Donating Your Shirts!
Thanks to all our members who took the time to return their old LFC shirts, young footballers in rural Uganda are now proudly wearing LFC BLUE!
Two suitcases full of LFC gear made their way to Uganda, and during the trip, the team came across a group of kids playing football in the street — using a ball made of rags. The team stopped, and handed out brand new footballs and playing shirts… and the kids were absolutely overjoyed. Smiles, excitement, and pure joy!
A huge shoutout to ex-Socceroo Gerry Gomez and his charity organisation @imteam — a team of pro athletes, coaches, and sports chaplains who are passionate about empowering young people both on the field and in life. These life-changing interactions wouldn’t happen without their heart and hustle. Also special thanks to ex NSFA President, Hilary Bingham who coordinates the donations on behalf of our association and makes the process so easy.
The rest of the donated gear is on its way to Deniliquin, in regional NSW, where it will be used in a free sports clinic offering coaching, fitness, and encouragement to local kids.
Your generosity is creating opportunities for children in both Uganda and Australia — thank you for being part of something truly special.
We plan one more delivery of 2nd hand gear to Gerry, so if you have any good quality, freshly laundered LFC shirts, shorts or tracksuits you'd like to donate, please drop them into the uniform shop before the end of May. Please do not include socks as these are rarely in good enough condition to pass on.
Enjoy cracking the chocolate eggs this Easter...🐰 But don't forget to crack open your drawers and clear out that old gear too!
