MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE ROLES & NOMINATIONS
In accordance with the constitution, the following Management Committee positions will be declared vacant at the AGM. Whilst the current nominations have been listed against the positions, further nominations are invited from LFC members before June 14th. Please fill in the form and email to the secretary, Ashley Crawford Nominations received will be added and where more than one applicate, a vote will take place.

May is always jam-packed with great events. We enjoyed the Volunteer Pizza Night and especially all the fun up at Charles Bean for Female Football week and Mother’s Day.
LFC had teams playing all day, with some classic LFC v LFC matchups!
There were Purple balloons, ribbons, hairspray, scrunchy's , headbands, masks, jumpers and glitter!
The weather was kind, allowing the players and supporters to enjoy picnics, bubbles and special treats.
Thank you to all who made this event special for our women and girls, with special thanks to Tace for getting the day organised! 💜💜

G8 Age Coordinator Needed!
Dear G8 parents,
We trust you and your girls are having a fabulous season? We thank your managers and Yiran, our G9 AC for getting you all organised. In community football, it takes a team to get the team on the pitch!
All age groups require a dedicated Age Coordinator from within their cohort.
So please, if you are a good communicator, we need you to step up and take on the role. If you’d like more information please get in touch with Mark Pittman, Vice President Volunteers.

In another first, we are excited to announce a new Ball Mastery Badge scheme for our younger players. At Lindfield FC, we are constantly striving to create the best environment for our players to learn and enjoy the game of Football. Initially, it will be rolled out through JDL as a trial, with a view to extending it next year to SuperSkills participants.
The Ball Mastery Badge Scheme provides a structured and progressive approach to skill development for young football players. Starting at the KICKSTART level and progressing through five levels allows players to gradually build their abilities while ensuring that they master each skill before moving on to the next.
Having dedicated time in each training session for skill development and assessment by coaches ensures that players are actively engaged in improving their techniques, they should then take home their learnings and practice with the assistance of guidance videos found on the LFC website. The requirement for players to demonstrate mastery of each skill before advancing adds an element of accountability and ensures a solid foundation before moving on to more advanced skills.
The use of patches as tangible rewards for achieving each level adds a sense of accomplishment and pride for the players. Plus, the ability to sew these patches onto training shorts provides a visible representation of their progress, which can be motivating for both players and their peers.
